Simone Kermes is valued for her unique stage presence and enormous virtuosity. The focus is particularly in the concert area, where the artist successfully goes on tour with her own music projects. The concept albums that she develops herself are produced together with her record label Sony. There she sets no limits, but is at home in all styles of music. Their albums even storm the pop charts.
In 2017 Simone Kermes created her own orchestra called Amici Veneziani, based on years of experience playing with her musicians, it was a necessity. "To bring quality and humanity together in equal measure, to experience them and carry them on".
In the same year, Simone Kermes founded her own artist agency, Kermes Artists GmbH. and gives successful master classes all over the world. Supporting young people and passing on their own musical knowledge and experience is something that is particularly important to Simone Kermes.
Simone Kermes makes guest appearances at major opera houses and concert halls around the world. She is a Mendelssohn and Bach Prize winner and has received numerous awards, including the Echo Klassik as "Singer of the Year", an Echo for the opera recording of the year and the important Russian opera prize "The Golden Mask" for Mozart "Cosi fan tutte".
Her current album "Inferno e Paradiso" (2020) Deadly Sins and Virtues - storms the classical charts and Simone Kermes proves that all music has its roots in the Baroque. She combines pop with baroque, and her own orchestra, the "Amici Veneziani", supports her with full energy. The press is full of praise :
The Ars Augusta eV association had the pleasure of inviting the great singer to a master class for singers. The master class is aimed at opera singers between the ages of 20 and 40, students or graduates of a music academy or conservatory who would like to perfect their repertoire with Ms. Kermes.
