Małgorzata przybysz

Mezzosoprano

Małgorzata Przybysz was born in Jelenia Góra, where at the age of six she began music education. She began learning classical singing in a chamber choir conducted by Franciszek Kosha, and then continued at the Secondary State Music School in Jelenia Góra in the class of Agnieszka Rehlis. As a high school student, she performed with the orchestra many times. St. Strahl at home and abroad presenting chamber repertoire. She graduated from the vocal department at the Music Academy in Wrocław in the class of prof. Ewa Czermak.

During her studies, she was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Arts. She is the winner of the 2nd Prize and the Special Prize at the Polish Vocal Competition Franciszek Platów in Wroclaw. She received a diploma for outstanding preparation of the Joachim part (oratorio by Susanna G. F. Handel) during the Course of Interpretation of Oratorio and Cantata Music in Wrocław. The culmination of the course was a concert at the XXXIX Wratislavia Cantans Festival. She participated in many master classes under the supervision of, among others: prof. T. Żylis-Gara, prof. J. Artysza, prof. S. Vitucci, prof. D. Grabowski. She also improved her vocal skills at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg.

 

Already during her studies, she made her debut on the Wrocław Opera stage in the Berta part (G. Rossini's Barber of Seville). She also performed the part of Isabella (Italian in G. Rossini's Algiers) on a small stage in Wroclaw. After graduation, she created the parts of II Norn and Wellgund (Twilight of the Gods of R. Wagner) and Schwertleite (Valkyrie of R. Wagner) in performances of the Wrocław Opera at Hala Stulecia. During her many years in Germany, she performed the following parts: III Damy (WA Mozart's Magic Flute), Mädchen (musical My fair Lady F. Loewe), Castavy (Šarka Z. Fibicha - German premiere recorded by Deutschland Radio and NDR Kultur and broadcast by NDR Kultur ), Matrone (Anna Karenina J. Hubaya), Bersi (Andrea Chénier U. Giordano), Ljubow (Mazepa P. Czajkowski) at the State Theater in Braunschweig. In his repertoire he also has other opera parts, among others: Orpheus (Orpheus and Eurydyka Ch. W. Gluck), Zita (G. Schicchi G. Puccini), Flora (Traviata G. Verdi), Magdalena (Rigoletto G. Verdi) , Suzuki (Madame Butterfly G. Puccini), Marina (Boris Godunow M. Musorgski), Carmen (Carmen G. Bizet).

 

The artist also willingly performs in works of oratorio and cantata music. She has dozens of games prepared, among which she performed, among others: Stabat Mater by J. B. Pergolesi, Gloria A. Vivaldi, Passion according to Saint. Jan (Wrocław Philharmonic), Weihnachtsortorium of JS Bach, Messiah GF Händel, Requiem and Coronation Mass of WA Mozart, Ninth Symphony of L. van Beethoven, Paulus F. Mendelssohn, Weihnachtsoratorium C. Saint-Saëns, Requiem M. Duruflé, Te Deum A. Bruckner , Stabat Mater K. Szymanowski (tour of Germany with the Wrocław Philharmonic orchestra). In addition to the concert performance of the psalms of E. Brikner and M. Żebrowski, she also took part in recording them on a compact disc. The artist also performed the part of a meso-soprano in the symphonic poem Aleksander Niewski by P. Tchaikovsky in a concert accompanied by the orchestra of the State Theater in Braunschweig. She also participated in the "Bachzeit" project, during which she performed around a dozen or so cantatas of J. S. Bach in Braunschweig, Seesen, Blankenburg and Goslar. She also participated in the world premiere of the cantata "Metanoia" composed by Bernfried E.G. Pröve for the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence.

 

She has performed at many music festivals, among others: the Wagner Festival, the Handel Festspiele, the Lublin September Music Festival, the 11th Silesia Sonans Festival, the 5th International Guitar Festival, the Bach International Festival, the 11th May Festival with Early Music, the Jasna Góra Organ Festival, the International Orchestra Festival youth.
